Prayer has always been the foundation of Roma Bible Union — not a task on the to-do list, but the heartbeat of the work. From the earliest days, our missionaries, leaders, and supporters have known this truth: the fruit of ministry is directly tied to the depth of prayer.
In 2025, we began building new pathways for prayer across the ministry. Whether you're drawn to pray quietly on your own or to intercede with others in real time, there's a place for you to join us. Together, we’re cultivating a true Culture of Prayer — one that surrounds Roma churches, missionaries, and communities with spiritual covering and care.

PRAYER LINE
Immediate. Intimate. Intercessory.
The Prayer Line is a WhatsApp-based group for those willing to pray as needs arise in real time. It’s a space for mature intercessors to offer immediate and compassionate support to Roma missionaries and their ministries.
Some requests may be sensitive or intense. If you feel called to this deeper level of prayer, we invite you to join.
DAY OF PRAYER
One Day. One Focus. Every Quarter.
Each quarter, we set aside 24 hours for prayer. Supporters around the world take shifts, covering Roma churches, missionaries, finances, and families in continuous intercession. Prayer requests are emailed in advance, and participants sign up for the hour(s) they’ll pray.

PRAYER LIVE

These live Zoom gatherings happen four times a year and are open to anyone who wants to pray alongside RBU missionaries, board members, and supporters. Stay for five minutes or the full hour — just come as you are.

PRAYER PALS
Praying Together. Across Borders and Generations.
Prayer Pals connects people — young and old, Roma and non-Roma — to pray for the Roma Church. Once paired, Prayer Pals stay in touch in the way that works best for them. Age-appropriate requests are shared by the Prayer Committee throughout the year.

LITTLES’ PRAYER CORNER

Prayer isn’t just for adults. Our downloadable Littles’ Prayer Corner guides families, Sunday school teachers, and pastors in teaching children to pray for Roma kids — and it’s being translated so Roma children can pray for each other, too.

Prayer Walks are guided audio reflections for those who want to walk and pray. Featuring gentle worship music and quiet prompts, these audio sessions create space to pray for the Roma Church while walking through nature — wherever you are.
